Arken Finance Winning SCB10x DeFi Launchpad Hackathon — 2nd Runner Up
Greetings Arken Finance community. Today we have good news for you! Arken was the 2nd runner up at SCB10x DeFi Launchpad Hackathon. Thanks to our excellent team effort and support from all of our fans!
What is “SCB 10X DeFi Launchpad” ?
SCB10X DeFi Launchpad was a 48-hour Hackathon where 10 teams of DeFi developers competed with each other to solve the DeFi industry problems. The event included SCB10X Global Partners, Mentors, and Judges who advised and judged the work of all teams.
Starting with 64 teams in the preliminary round which is then eliminated to only the last 10 teams who joined the 48-hour Hackathon. The last 10 teams then competed for a chance to become one of the best 3 teams which will be chosen to join SCB10X 3-month DeFi Incubation Program with hands-on support from SCB10X Venture Builder team and mentorship from the partners to develop and build Blockchain and DeFi Projects!
Feelings of the team during the Hackathon:
This was our first Hackathon. To be honest, everyone on the team was very excited. Because other teams look very proficient in DeFi area, and everyone looked quite prepared for this Hackathon. We were a little worried at first whether our product and solution would fulfill the Hackathons and SCB10x objectives or not. However, overall, the team felt great and did have lots of expectations for any opportunities ahead.
Challenges during the Hackathon:
At first, it turned out that we have so many topics in mind that we don’t know which one to pick for and the reason was that Arken has already operated for 4 months. We have seen and faced several problems during the journey and wanted to solve all those problems.
Then during the hackathon, of course, the very classic problem is time — the migration and our function did not work properly until the last minute. Even at the last hour of the competition, we were still trying to fix our migration and errors and we did not even have time to recheck some of our finished works. However, We DID IT. In the end, the problem was solved right before the pitching started.

The Solution that we proposed in the Hackathon:
We proposed the “Arken Universal Adaptor” in the competition. The Arken Universal Adaptor is the linkage to all of our features with several DeFi chains and protocols, apart from the popular ones. With Arken Universal Adaptor, we can integrate new chains and protocols 10 times quicker than the normal development speed. We managed to complete and finish all of this within the challenging limited timeframe of 48 hours. However, there is still a lot for us to learn and to improve ourselves in order to make this adapter complete — Please keep following our work and creation, to see how this product will turn out to be in the end!
Details about Arken Universal Adaptor
After four months of operation, we’ve received a flood of positive comments about how quick our charts are and how simple the product is to use. However, we have received inquiries from consumers as to why our interesting features are only available on popular networks like ETH, BSC, and Polygon. As it turns out, merchants on these networks are also seeking solutions similar to Arken. That is when our issue arises. To expand to other chains, it required some work to get there quickly.
Arken Universal Adaptor, which enables us to simply scale to anyplace 10 times quicker with little effort. The universal adapter will be accessible as an SDK, which will allow it to be used not just by Arken, but also by other projects. Our team developed Chain Adaptor and Protocol Adaptor Interface References from our proprietary Adaptor SDK within two days.
