Arken: Abstraction Layer for DeFi Protocols, dApps & User Experience
Arken team has been on a journey to make DeFi more accessible for many years. The more we learned about the adoption obstructions of DeFi users, the more we realized that making DeFi accessible is going to need a lot of applications.
The future toward multi-chain becomes more apparent, kind of inevitable. With many L1 & L2 players popping up, even more diverse protocols and dApps will emerge. This creates complexity for both developers and users. For users, moving assets across chains and learning which new dApps to use are just examples of monthly challenges. For developers, keeping track of protocol changes is just the start.
We need to improve both developer & user experience to make DeFi grow faster. Today marks the day we settle how we are going to realize this vision!
What Arken can do for DeFi developers and users
Arken is the Abstraction Layer — the layers created to be between protocols and dApps, to help developers and users have simple, consistent, and well-integrated experience.
We created the technology abstraction layer first. In this layer, we provide Swap Engine (aggregating millions of pools), TxFlow Price API (asset price blockchain indexing), Mid-price API, and more to come — to help accelerate software development.
Our progress, hopefully helps developers build and experiment with their project faster. Focus on building your core features should be your priority! Arken’s unified APIs are there to create consistent APIs across multi-chain and make the code future-proof.
Next, using the technology abstraction layer from which we built for developers, we created the user experience abstraction layer. Now, focusing on retail traders, we developed Arken Trading Portal — allows users to navigate through multiple networks, thousands of protocols, and millions of liquidity pools — all in one user-friendly interface, with the same experience across every chain, some even thought that we are CEX!
What’s next? As professional traders, algorithmic traders, and fund managers are affected by the uncertainty of CEX during the past few months, we are working on a solution that could bring them to DeFi.
